These buildings are designed with consideration to the quality of life of occupants including features such as good indoor environmental air quality, efficient use of energy, water and other resources, use of materials that are non-toxic, ethical and sustainable.
In addition, they use renewable energy sources, such as solar energy in the form of photovoltaics, geothermal systems, etc.
